Whip Shading

Whip shading is a shading technique based on quick, short, whip-like movements that produce a progressive gradation of tone. It is a technique term, not a product characteristic.

Why it matters: It appears in guides and articles to describe how certain gradients are obtained. Odisage does not present it as an operating guide.
